How many vacation days do I have left?
The problem isn't the question
The answer already exists. It sits in a system somewhere, usually monday.com, usually on a board only HR can see.
So the employee writes an email. Or pings someone on Slack. Or walks over. Then they wait. HR stops what they're doing, opens the board, finds the name, reads the number, replies.
Two minutes of work. Multiplied by every employee, every month.
The problem isn't the question. It's that getting the answer requires a person.
Move the answer to where people already are
Your team doesn't live in monday.com. They live in WhatsApp.
So we put the answer there.
An employee sends a message. A few seconds later, they get their leave balance back. No login. No form. No waiting on HR.
How it works
- The employee messages a dedicated WhatsApp number.
- The system identifies them by their phone number.
- It looks them up on the HR board in monday.com.
- It sends back their current balance (e.g. days used, days remaining).
HR stays the single source of truth. Update the board, and the next answer reflects it.
What changes
For employees: an answer in seconds, from the app already on their phone.
For HR: one less interruption, many times over. Time back for work that actually needs a human.
For the business: fewer handoffs, and data that stays in one place.
The bigger point
Leave balance is just the example. Any question with an answer already stored in monday.com can work the same way. Remaining budget. Project status. Next shift.
If your team keeps asking for information you already have, the fix isn't a faster reply. It's removing the need to ask.
